Older Adults & Seniors Program

Aimed at adults aged 55+ this program offers a selection of activities to choose from each week. Activities are designed to create social connections, keep people active, promote life long learning and have fun. Some, like Games and Spanish Language lessons happen on a regular schedule. Other activities change from month to month based on what people are looking for. Staff can also make check-in calls and provide referrals to other services.

Some program fees apply and subsidies are available – please speak to the Seniors Coordinator for details.

Welcome to our Seniors Yoga Program!

This gentle yoga session is offered in the Narthex Space at the Neighbourhood Food Hub during the colder months and outdoors at Applegrove during the warmer ones. Cost: $30/8 classes.

Looking to volunteer in your community and support people experiencing food insecurity. Join us for social sessions at which we prepare food for delivery to local seniors, groups and organizations.

Do you enjoy doing puzzles and playing Bridge, Gin and Euchre? Join us on Thursdays for a friendly game of cards, dominoes, etc. A light snack, coffee, and tea are provided.
