The program provides a safe and social space for children age 6-12 once school is out. Our team of experienced staff offer fun and skill-building activities such as drama and cooperative games, science experiments, art & crafts, physical activity and more. A healthy snack is provided daily.
This is a fee-based program.
We welcome all families and offer subsidies based on household income and size. Learn more about our fees and subsidies.
The program operates from September to June, on days when school is in session.
PA Day, March Break and Holiday Camp programs are also available at an additional cost.
Youth Leadership [Registration Now Open]
Tuesdays

This program is geared toward youth aged 12 – 16 who want to become more resilient and independent, learn life skills, and become a leader in their community. The youth will gain these skills through activities, workshops, events, and trips guided by experienced staff and youth leaders from the community. Through volunteer opportunities the youth with build connections in the community and develop employment skills as well.

This is a free program. Registration is required.

Summer Adventure Camp [waitlist]

July and August
Our summer camp is for children aged 6-12. Weekly sessions offer recreational and enriching activities including crafts, cooking, games, swimming, exploring the neighbourhood, trips and more. This is a place where children make friends, enjoy their days and build amazing memories.
*IMPORTANT UPDATE – Applegrove will be relocating for the summer due to renovations in the Duke of Connaught Public School. The camp location has been confirmed and will be run out of Roden Public School. Week 8 will still be run out of the Toronto Formosan Presbyterian Church – 31 Eastwood Road. We plan to offer all the same exciting programming that our camps have built their reputation on and don’t foresee the relocation affecting our ability to do so.

Summer Leadership Program [Waitlist]
Monday – Friday
10am — 4pm

This program provides opportunities for youth aged 12 – 15 to make friends, build confidence, and gain leadership and life skills. A combination of learning and fun makes for a well-balanced program. Leadership development components include team-building, problem-solving, community engagement, and activity planning. The group then puts their learning into practice by planning and hosting an event such as a kid’s activity day or community movie night.
*IMPORTANT UPDATE – Applegrove will be relocating for the summer due to renovations in the Duke of Connaught Public School. The Location of the Leadership Program is yet to be confirmed but it will be within our catchment area. We plan to offer the same exciting program that our camps have built their reputation on and don’t foresee the relocation affecting our ability to do so. Due to the uncertainty of the program location, we will not be collecting fees upfront for our summer registrations. Once a location has been confirmed we will email everyone who has registered and payment will then be due 14 calendar days from that notice date or your registration will be cancelled.
