Annual General Meeting

This year, for the first time since 2019 we will hold our Annual General Meeting in person!  As you may know, Applegrove loves to host community events and we look forward to this opportunity to bring our members together.

Our annual report on Applegrove activities and financials

  • An affordable fresh food market
  • Onsite child care (free)

Please note:
While everyone is welcome, only registered members age 18 and over can vote on motions made at the meeting, and only members who live within the Applegrove catchment area (from Jones Avenue to Woodbine Avenue, Lake Ontario to the railroad tracks north of Gerrard Street) can vote on the election of board members.

Summer Adventure Camp & Summer Leadership: registration now open!

Online registration is now open for our Summer Adventure Camp (6-12 years) and Summer Leadership Program (12-15 years). The registration forms are available below. Please complete the forms and send them to [email protected] to register, you may also print the forms and drop them off at our office. Registration is on a first come first serve basis.

Free Youth Programs!

Youth Leadership is now registering for the second session: January 19-March 30.

This program is geared toward youth aged 12 – 16 who want to become more resilient and independent, learn life skills, and become a leader in their community. The youth will gain these skills through activities, workshops, events, and trips guided by experienced staff and youth leaders from the community. Three sessions of 10 weeks are offered.

This is a free program. Spaces are limited. Register today by filling out these forms and sending them to [email protected].

Income Tax Clinic

March 1 – April 26
Wednesdays 9:30 am – 4:30 pm by appointment only (in-person or virtual)

Need help completing your taxes? See if you are eligible for our free tax clinic.

You are eligible if you:

  • Are a single person with an income of $35,000 or less
  • Are a 2-person family with an income of $40,000 or less
  • Are an individual with a dependent with an income of $35,000 or less
  • Have an interest income of no more than $1,000
  • Have a simple, straightforward return, with income from basic employment, social assistance, or pension
  • Do NOT have capital gains, rental or self-employed income
  • Need only the 2022 tax year prepared
