Older Adults Program for adults 55+

Applegrove is pleased to provide programming for older adults! A full and healthy life integrates a range of activities incorporating moving, doing and learning, and that is what Applegrove offers to older adults in the neighbourhood.

The Older Adults Program will operate afternoons daily in the Applegrove Lounge on the 2nd floor of the Duke of Connaught School. Adults 55+ are welcome to enjoy a range of activities such as:

  • euchre
  • out and about club
  • book club
  • one-on-one computer tutoring
  • bingo

Connecting Through Technology Workshop Series

Get connected through mobile tech and the internet. There are weekly sessions from November 2 through December 6 with lessons, practice exercises, and individual and group work. Devices are provided or bring your own. View the flyer (PDF, 825K) for more information.

About every 6 weeks, keen readers discuss books, characters, movies and life. The next Book Club meeting date is to be announced.
